*Note: We had a miscommunication internally and will not be shipping this collection until November – and we’ll update this post when that time comes with more pattern inspiration love! We’ll actually be shipping Road Trip in September, so get your pattern inspiration for it here!
Well, it’s certainly feeling like fall around here in Montana – last week it was 100 degrees, and the last couple of days, we’ve needed our heat on! Thankfully, it looks like it’ll be warming up again here soon… I’m not quite ready for sweater weather.
If you’re not familiar with Jen yet, according the to C+S webite, she “is a printmaker, surface designer, textile artist and teacher living in San Francisco with her dog Gus. A lifelong Californian, Jen combines her love of bold prints and saturated colors with the textures and light of California landscapes to create highly tactile, visually layered, printed textiles. Jen’s first book, Print, Pattern, Sew: Block Printing Basics + Simple Sewing Projects for an Inspired Wardrobe, will be published by Roost Books in May 2018. For her first-ever fabric collection, Jen drew inspiration from her daily walks in and around Golden Gate Park, simplifying the surrounding flora and landscapes into quirky, geometric shapes. A printmaker by training, Jen began her design process for this collection by hand printing with the collection of blocks she’s carved over the years, playing with layout and color as she worked.”
